It's been so long since last time I wrote. I thought it'll be slow summer since we didn't have any vacation plan, but I ended up busy sewing.
Last time, I mentioned about St. Louis Modern Quilt Challenge. I decided to choose "Alice in Wonderland" for my inspiration, and made a throw. "Alice in Wonderland" is strange weird place, so I choose to make a quilt with many different size of wonky squares. I liked the idea of this, but it was such a pain to piece them together since I decided to make bunch of squares first, then sew them together. It was like a life size jigsaw puzzle. What a nightmare. I regretted not to choose the quilt with a pattern. I'll be wiser next time!
I love, love, love it!!! It is perfect for Alice in Wonderland's strange world. Well done, great colors, good work!! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHave a super great sewing and stitching day!
Thank you, Miss Nancy! My next quilting project is Christmas quilt. I don't want to rush like this one, so I have to use time wisely ;)
